This Roman Amphitheater is one of the better preserved we have visited. The steps to the top are a little daunting but the view is worth it. Evidently they still use it today.

There are quite a few Ampitheatres in Jordon (Jerash, Petra etc.) but this one brings to life that this, in many ways, modern city has an ancient past. Theatre still used for plays today.
