Really enjoyed the Palmach Museum - very interesting history and a unique way to tell the story of Israel's freedom fighters and independence. Definitely recommend! More

It was not in my plans to visit the Palmach Museum but I was strongly encouraged to do so and now I will strongly encourage you. I have been in many museums and I have to say that this was one of the best when considering the EXPERIENCE. The Louvre has some unbeatable art and there is always something new... More

It was inspiring to visit the Palmach museum and hear the commentary of the early defenders of Israel, their sacrifices and heroic achievements. The presentations of stories were thoughtfully done with pictures, voice overs, and historic battles. It gave one an appreciation for how fragil but determined a very few were to preserve our new home More

This is a multimedia museum. You have to go to see how much sacrifice these young men gave for the sake of their land! More

This is a fascinating museum that allows you to experience the history of the palmach with the help of a guide. You go thru many rooms, made to look and feel like the actual places with video, music and "sets". The only problem was the hebrew soundtrack was so loud it made it difficult to hear the english thru the... More

Take the time to learn a bit about the history of Israel and your experience will be much richer. This is an unusual museum. Plan for at least 60 minutes. More

The way in which this museum explains the history of the Palmach (part of the original Israeli Army) is completely engaging while being highly informative and emotional. I loved it. You have to make reservations to attend it, since it's done only in groups, with a docent. Be forewarned--the parking in that area is a nightmare, so grab a cab,... More
