There is a free walking tour of old Jaffa every Wednesday at 9:30 that meets at the Info center around the corner from the old clock tower...Check your guidebooks for details...
We took the tour and as part of it went into the Llana Goor Residence It was a beautiful place with wonderous art and a good story too.

a wonderful find in old jaffa - full of humourous statements, serious art and craft, contemporary and classical, refined and naive, secular and religious -and fabulous view from the top. What an amazing place to be entertained in - sorry we did not experience that.

Ilana can often be found to help guide you, proudly through her house of antiques and stories. She is a wonderful example of a true Israeli artist and cultural icon. Many famous international visitors have dined on her rooftop terrace there, and wonderful place to rent for a special party! Great gifts to buy there and the occasional larger piece...

This museum is in her former home. I was here for a business event, and although not much of a museum goer I was astounded at the creativity of her sculptures and furniture. Absolutely inspiring.

In the Old Jaffa you get the chance to visit this amazing mansion that is the home of this artist. The building is old and has been renovated to a great collection of arts and architecture. It's not only the beautiful - special sculptures and paintings. It's the unic - authentic building and the fantastic view from the balcony.
