This is a restaurant where one eats in total darkness, served by blind or sigh impaired wait-staff. The staff is excellent , helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and the experience amazing. One can not see utensils, water pitchers or other diners at the table. You get to know what it is like as best a sighted person can,... More

We did not see the show but the dinner experience was amazing! Congrats for the idea and the effort to make it happen!

A different and very special experience. We started the evening with "dinner in the dark". We were greeted by Hila, a cheerful waitress who guided us through the meal. And the food tasted lovely. We did not know what awaited us on the show, but it helped us get an understanding of the blind persons life. All in all a... More

Was only able to go to the Black Out restaurant. Got there a little late but they were very nice about seating me. Food was good (I chose the chef's surprise option and wound up with salmon), certainly very tasty, no complaints, tho not be all and end all. But the experience is one of the most wonderfully memorable I've... More

I came with a tour group, and we just got to see the blind-deaf theater put on the play "Not by Bread Alone." It was amazing. I would have loved to eat in one of the restaurants also, but we weren't given the option. This is a wonderful opportunity to feel with those almost in another world.

The play opened up a new world to me. The restaurant was remarkable in every way - teaching us about the experience of senses and sense deprivation.

Although I greatly admire the tenacity of handicapped individuals who do everything that they are capable of in order to work, this type of experience is not for everyone. I spent an evening here and also saw the play. The deaf waitress was charming and used chalk and a board to communicate with us, and she also taught us a... More
