I was unsure of visiting the museum, afraid it might err on the propaganda side as sometimes memorial museums can. It was however, very well done, thorough, educational and very moving. I could easily have spent much ore time than the hour or somew were given on our tour. It's a very thorough account of what happened during the war... More

The museum really does a good job of walking you through the stages of the Holocaust and is a great educational or remembrance tour. I highly recommend it. Also, the grounds are kept up beautifully. More

I found the memorial was very informative. It has a lot if information displayed in a multimedia, very attractive way. Very well setup and the building is amazing. If you are planning a visit to the area, make sure you don't miss it. Kids are not allowed to enter, so if you are travelling as a family, you may need... More

I spent 6 hours here over the course of two days. There was simply too much to see and absorb over a single visit. The information was vast and thought-provoking; the pictures often overwhelming. Be sure to see the Children's Memorial, too. More

...and about as thorough as you could ever hope a museum to be. It is very crowded, however...so be prepared for that. It is also very moving if you care about this subject at all. Have tissues handy, and don't forget to sign the book at the end or visit the Avenue of the Righteous Among the Nations. You will... More

This is my fourth visit to Holocaust related museum/concentration camps, and I learned the most with most neutral and factual message, showed respect in an artistic way (hall of names, children's memorial). The sculpture of a teacher who took care of orphans till the end; this is a sculpture which struck me the most among all the sculpture in the... More

Unlike regular moseums, Yad Vashem gives an impressive "hands-on" feeling of the holocaust terrible event. The building is uniquely designed to assist this feeling of the visitor. Walking into the main hall, the visitor walks on wooden bars that make the sound of wooden train carriage.... More

I had visited 30 years ago and there is so much more information and artifacts there today! This memorial is so meaningful for so many who lost family during the Holocaust. The on-line computer information that is available to research family is an invaluable resource. Thank you! More
