Go to the history of the region, the Jewish area & of course the Dead Sea Scrolls, but the artwork pales to most large city museums and the model of the old city isn't accurate. More

This museum is truly a knockout. The architecture is nothing short of stunning and the display areas - or at least those that I saw - were visual masterpieces. The archeological exhibits were stunning and the art produced by artisans thousands of years ago was amazing. The Canaanites carved pieces that were unbelievably beautiful. More

Very informative, the museography is excellent and the scale model of jerusalem city gives you and idea of the old jerusalem in times of Herod More

We had 3 hours here and didn't even come close to seeing every room. This is just one of the reasons for us to make a second visit to Israel. More

The model of the city from the 2nd temple period helped to put places in perspective. My life long dream was to see the Dead Sea scrolls and this was accomplished there. More

beside the things that every Museum has, In this Musium there are some of the oldest scoll that were hidden in Judea dezert, and was written by a hermit group that lived in the desert during the time of the secend temple. there is also a script from the time of Bar- cochva rebelion, and the book called "The Keter"...
