Aside from its beauty, functionality and interest, the Hurva Synagogue is a meaningful place to visit due to what it represents.

The Hurva Synagogue, which was virtually destroyed by Jordan's Arab Legion in 1948, has recently been rebuilt to its original dimensions and meticulously renovated with stained glass windows and a magnificent dome.
