Our pre-booked private tour at $275 for 4 hours had to cancel at the last minute. Instead we joined one of the free tours (tipping at the end). We had a small group, our guide was qualified, and it only cost us $40 in tips (and we were easily the biggest tippers). More

I went to this attraction hoping to catch a guided tour in English. I was told that they only have tours once an hour and they only happen if there are enough people. The visitor's center is part of the Citadel and included in the admission price. It had some nice exhibits, but it is not the main attraction. More

There are some incredible things to see here, and they are definitely worth it. Please be aware, however, that many archeological theories about this place are unconfirmed and even controversial, but your tour guide will probably not tell you this. Also be aware that the site is controlled by individuals with a particular agenda political agenda. More
