This may be one of the most beautiful mosques in Istanbul (though there are quite a lot, admittedly). It's more light and airy, with a beautiful dome, and not very busy compared to other more famous sights in the city, giving you time to absorb the calm beauty of a major imperial mosque without tourists around you.

The mosque has a garden filled with beautifully decorated marble tombs. If u are interested about the remains of the Roman tradition in Islam,it is a must see cemetery. Inside of the mosque decorated with beautiful calligraphies..

This mosque is a bit off the beaten path, but is well worth visiting. The overall design, while similar to other mosques is slightly different with the four half-domes surrounding the main dome. If you like architecture, you'll love this one.
