Wow, the Pudding shop is located in central Istanbul, closeby is the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia, and fabulous public bathouse. All are walking distance from the Pudding Shop. We came in for lunch and noticed that everyone was essentially ordering the same dish, kofte, so we did too. It was just okay, as were the puddings. We stopped in since it has history. The food was good but is over priced for other restaurants in the area and the ambiance is nothing special. There is no reason to go out of your way for a visit here. More

The Pudding Shop is famous for being the meeting spot for many hippies traveling in the 60's & 70's.
