Very useful with the guide. I learned a lot which I may otherwise have missed. She was knowledgable and helpful with tips as we went along. Be prepaired that a full day can be a bit intense though. More

I walked around Historic/Down town area of Europe side of Istanbul area. I walked along Tram track road to not miss the road as the side roads are confusing. This is the only way to see culture and different parts of Istanbul. We were warmly greeted by locals. We tasted lot of local food varieties while walking More

Walking in streets of Istanbul is a great experience. We walked around almost all of the Sultanahmet district and parts of Taksim area. It was a wonderful experience. More

It is not possible to walk safely in Istanbul safely due to the crowd and the absence of the sidewalks for the people and families especially with young children. Istanbul streets are not the family friendly places for the families with kids. More

That is how you "feel" Istanbul! Put on your comfy shoes, get a map, and walk the Old City. You will be delighted by the colors, aromas, and sights of this lively, beautiful city! Istanbul is fascinating even when the locals get impatient with tourists. And be prepared to be patient when you go to tourist attractions where the employees... More
