This center is certainly worth visiting. In half an hour or so, you will learn so much about the devastation caused by the extensive cluster bombing campaigns done during the Vietnam war. More

You'll get an excellent free guided tour at this great non-for profit initiative that raises awareness about the victims of unexploded bombs from the Vietnam war in Laos, and suppurts these victims. A very impressive experience and a great way to learn more about Laos' recent history from which the the population still suffers today. More

All visitors to Vientiane should visit the COPE Visitor Centre. Since unexploded ordinance (UXO) is still having such huge impact on Laos and its population, and since it is a big part of Laos history, a visit is a must to better understand this country. It is also important to visit COPE in order to raise awareness on this issue... More

I had heard of COPE and wanted to visit the centre for mine victims (prothesis and rehabilitation). the work they do there is aweinspiring and very important, indeed. The centre is run by volunteers, has a really well run little handicraft market (all comunity projects) and a really well set up display and visitor area. The staff invite you to... More

This is a serious reality check for anyone who is unaware of what has happened to the Laos people and what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Westerners please visit and be humbled by what life could be like if you weren't as lucky as you are. This is the best charity organization that my Wife and... More
