The Flicks is not really a typical movie theatre, but more the sort of place where you'd have a movie night with friends. All the movies shown are ones that have been released on DVD (not the ones just hitting theatres) but the owner has a great collection and shows all different varieties of movies. There are several different showings... More

It's a nice place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. When I went, I saw a Dutch film, Sinta Claus. The film itself isn't relevant to the experience I had here. They have beers, food, snacks. However, the subtitle of the film I watched had a four second lag in the subtitles. More

Very comfy place to see old and, usually, pretty boring film. They give it a good try, however. More

Thanks for your review. Please know we try to present about 90% of our weekly shedule to brand new releases. Tuesday is always Classic Night, when the movies we screen are really VERY old. Fifties, sixties from the last century. We hope to see you at one of our other releases too. More

$3.50 to watch two great movies. They even have their own webite which you can look up forthcoming movies and even make a reservation - what a great idea. Pre-order food and they serve it to you while you sit on "lounge mats" or chill on the wicker type sofas... buy beers, chocoltae, potato chips, popcorn, just like at the... More

Going to the movies has never been so relaxing! You can choose to either sit on a rotan bench or ly down on a pile of matrasses and pillows. You are even allowed to bring your drinks and snacks into the cinema. There was a couple next to us who ordered a pizza, that was dilivered to them in the... More

We went to The Flicks the day we arrived in Phnom Penh, after a long bus journey we were tired and snuggling up on the cushions, eating freshly made buttered popcorn and watching a film was a great way to relax! If only all cinemas were like this! More

The traditional idea of "going for a movie" doesn't get much better than this. For almost nothing you can watch the latest good (don't expect the latest Transformers) movies together with less than 30 people, either sitting on a comfy bench or lying down on even more comfy mattresses. The image and sound quality is great, there is a full... More
