the history of this fort...well, it isn't really a finished product. The fort holds back the city. Standing in this place you feel like you can stretch your arms again, but right over the walls the buildings of the city are laying siege.

Not very well preserved or restored. Access is congested, specially on weekdays. Being encroached by housing on three sides. It once housed a whole city of barracks inside. There are some historical artifacts in the main building, but very little else of interest. The gardens are OK in some areas, and empty/unkempt in others. The ponds were all dry. The staff very strict about opening hours (don't arrive early) although friendly otherwise.
