Unlike the name “Perfume” the river seemed not as clean as its ad pictures. However it is worth to take on a boat and stroll down with the streams. I felt relaxing while sitting on the boat and have whole view with apparently romantic scenery in the lovely afternoon. Near the river are some famous places like pagodas and tombs.... More

We did the cruise as part of our sightseeing tour. We had a boat to ourselves and stop at veracious places along the way. The Thien Mu Pagoda and the Minh Mang's tomb were the most impressive. But just cruising down the river was very relaxing and the scenery is beautiful. At the end of our cruise we were pick... More

The Perfume River is wide and calm. On our river cruise there didn't seem to be much to see on either side of the river and although it is a working river it isn't as busy as say the Chao Phraya in Bangkok where you could watch the world go by. More

There are plenty of boats by the bridge crossing the Perfume River. Plenty of touts too trying to overcharge! We eventually paid 100k Dong ($5) total for two of us for an hour ride. Nice and relaxing trip. The boat operators will try to sell souvenirs during the trip but were not pushy. More

Nothing really exciting to see and people are trying to sell you things (junk) most of the time and on the short 45 minute cruise. Thought we escaped the selling at least on the short trip, but no. More

A river boat tour is a great way to see the area, but the boats are noisy and hot in April More

We visited two heritage sights by water, and our hotel overlooked the river. Both trips by water were very interesting. More

Temples are a real highlight! Enjoy the magnificent views from the temples to passing traffic on the river. More

Beautiful environment, beautiful river and the tombs are interesting. We booked the tour through our hotel (Huenino). It gets a bit expensive because you have to pay for every tomb, but it is well worth it. More
