The Perfume River is wide and calm. On our river cruise there didn't seem to be much to see on either side of the river and although it is a working river it isn't as busy as say the Chao Phraya in Bangkok where you could watch the world go by. More

There are plenty of boats by the bridge crossing the Perfume River. Plenty of touts too trying to overcharge! We eventually paid 100k Dong ($5) total for two of us for an hour ride. Nice and relaxing trip. The boat operators will try to sell souvenirs during the trip but were not pushy. More
