Visit the historical Cu Chi tunnels, the laidback backwaters of the lush Mekong Delta and the UNESCO-listed Can Gio Biosphere Reserve. We offer authentic experiences in areas that can only be accessed via the region's scenic waterways. Cruise between verdant rice paddies and mirror-like pools along the tributaries and canals of the river of nine dragons - the Mekong Delta. Step back into Vietnam's not-too-distant past at the Cu Chi Tunnels to experience wartime life. Cruise mangrove forests off Vietnam's southern coastline and learn about the diverse flora and fauna of captivating Can Gio. Fall into the local rhythm and take time to enjoy the here and now. Connect with Vietnam's landscapes, warm people and perhaps, even yourself. « less

Excellent informative tour. Such a comfortable way to see the delta. They took care of everything, very thoughtful and didn't feel pressured into awkward situations. Food ok.

Very professional and well organized. Tour at the tunnels was highly informative and balanced with the added benefit of being there in the cool of the morning and not sharing any of the site with the bus ladened hordes that arrived as we were leaving. Interesting sights along the Saigon River as well. Extremely good value.

Booked this excursion as part of my visit to Ho Chi Mihn city. Lucked out as I was staying at the Renaissance Riverside - literally across the street from the boat departure. The tour group was small - 6 total - with four crew to look after us, including our guide who spoke excellent English. We sped upriver for about... More

I had read reviews about the boat tour to the chi chu tunnels and I have to agree it is well worth the cost. It was approx $80 AUD per person. You are picked up from your hotel and dropped back at the end of this half day tour. The boat trip was a great way to see the local... More

People say this is expensive but believe me, you wouldn't get anything in Australia half as good for this price. We did the Cu chi Tunnels tour and the Mekong Delta tour. Going by boat eliminates the headache of sitting in traffic plus it's a great way to see how the locals use and live, on the river, a real... More

We had a fabulous day going to the Mekong Delta from the Saigon River via a channel designed by the French and built throughout the 19th Century. It was like going back through history as we traveled at a good pace to view everything. The stops we made were most interesting and we were very well looked after with constant... More

There are many companies offering trips to the Mekong Delta and they all vary in costs. This is probably the most expensive coming in at approximately $210.00 for 2. That said, you will be collected from your Hotel, given breakfast on arrival at the boat, accompanied by an outstanding guide and then delivered back to your hotel at the end... More

Pricey but worth it, picked up from hotel by a very pleasant and polite chap and taken to a bus down to the harbour where I paid, with 4 other ppl we took the speedboat to the tunnels, it was very quiet as we arrived before all the groups. The guide was brilliant and very informative and happy to answer... More

The Cu Chi Tunnels are great fun, but you can get there by bus as well for very little money, like $20 pp. including entrance fees. So I'm reviewing the value added of going by boat. At $79,- per person I think it's a little overpriced as there is nothing to see on the river. Don't get me wrong, you'll... More

Dear A-Farang, Thanks for taking the time to share your impressions. I understand you thought the Cu Chi trip was slightly higher price than some other tours or traveling by road. But, as you can see, the majority of our reviews here mention what fantastic value for money. However, as we travel by boat, our services and facilities offered at... More

We first used SRE for a top trip to the Mekong delta. A smart chap in company logo picked us up on time (7.30am) and zipped us down to the boat. There we met our fellow travellers for the day and boarded the boat. As I remember the boat comfortably held 15 and that included a crew of 5. As... More
