This museum was great, the A/C wasn't strong enough for the day that we were there but it was still worth it. Ask for the student discount if you are a student.

I prefer the French name, Musee des Femmes du Vietnam. The displays are well thought out, the heroines of the struggle against the French and America is the best part for me, and the tribal stuff is very good too, the marriage section was interesting but the ante-natal section left me cold.

Well worth a visit. Close to the old quater an easy walk or a short taxi ride. This museum takes you on a journey of the important role the vietnames woman has, and what influance they have had in history.

Well laid out, airy, and fairly cool rooms. Factual information also in English. Found the video labour the women having to leave family to work in Hanoi for a pittance moving.
