We were lucky: butterflies EVERYWHERE in mid-April, with more to come. The rather tricky climb to the Cave of Prehistoric Man is worthwhile, but make sure you take a torch/ flashlight to see more than the first chamber. See the endangered primates, too - but make sure that you're there at the right time of day to visit them. More

We especially made a real effort to go and visit the park. The scenery was beautiful but the facilities and staff acted as though they wished we were not there, and the facilities were run down.
