Forgive me if I am too sensitive to noise at night. We spent a night beside the Lake Mac which is inside the park. The accommodation is really basic. I had to go to the 'office' (next to the dining hall) to take bed sheets, pillow cases and towels by myself (no complain, actually I am glad that I did.... More

Great spot to do some enjoyable day hiking. We took one of the paths that turned out to be about a 3 hour loop. Along the way we say a large cave and a very ancient tree. When choosing the look you can either start by going left or down the walkway to the right. We started to the left... More

We came to the park on motorbike from Ninh Binh (tired journey) and also the nature, hills , countryside near park is very nice (mainly the small villages, green hills around). In the park we had got many information, If you want to visit the center for surviving the monkeys you will get the guide and he shows you this... More

When organising this tour make sure your tour guide has been before and knows more than you. We travelled from hanoi which is a 3 hour trip by private car. The highlight of the drive was the karst hills close to Cuc Phuong which are very picturesque. We went mid April and the butterflies were out in profusion - we... More

We were lucky: butterflies EVERYWHERE in mid-April, with more to come. The rather tricky climb to the Cave of Prehistoric Man is worthwhile, but make sure you take a torch/ flashlight to see more than the first chamber. See the endangered primates, too - but make sure that you're there at the right time of day to visit them. More

Enjoyed the visit to the Primate Rescue Centre and to learn about primate release. Felt the accommodation bathroom and bedding deserved better attention to detail More

We especially made a real effort to go and visit the park. The scenery was beautiful but the facilities and staff acted as though they wished we were not there, and the facilities were run down. Very disappointed. Restaurant at the park, the person serving didn't really want us there and served us really bad food. More

if you love the outdoors this place is AMAZING! Now the key is to have a great guide, and you will take in great jungle, caves, and light hiking. It all depends. We visited this place from Ninh Binh and totally loved it. There is a great monkey rescue program to visit and contribute if you like (they don't pressure... More

Stayed overnight at the park as part of the Interpride Bike Riding Tour. The accommodation is tired and fairly basic but comfortable. An enjoyable visit with 20km bike ride from the park accomodation centre to the kiosk where you can vistit the 1000 year old tree. This is an enjoyable walk but has some tough sections with steep steps to... More

We travelled from Ninh Binh and spent two days in this National Park. Highlights were the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre and Turtle Conservation Centre, as well as the Cave of Prehistoric Man. On our second day there we hired mountain bikes and a motorscooter to travel the 20kms up to the centre of the park. We stopped off along the... More
