Its good to hear or read the history about it but honestly I think that is all that is required. Pretty boring otherwise in my humble opinion, not much to actually do there except see a stationary train or take the train to another place and return for a fee but we would have had to wait 2 hours for... As with many buildings in Vietnam, very pretty and photogenic. Not much else to see in the station itself - the "stained glass" looked more like paint on cement. The steam engine and old carriages were fun to clamber over if that's your interest. We did not take the train to Trai Mat or Linh Phuoc which might have made... More

Our kids really liked the railway station. There is not a lot to see, but there are a couple of old engines (which you can climb on), and the architecture is interesting. Do pop in if you're going past.

Good chance to take pictures of old French colonial railroad. Can climb up on an old engine. This Railway station is small but its fine and unique. Maybe they need to maintain more the in-side area of this station and make it cleaner. It is good to have more dustbin as well. Some visitor just simply throw rubbish because of... More

We wanted to see the station, ride the train and visit the raved about Chua Linh Phuoc pagoda and we easily managed it all in a morning. We caught a taxi from our hotel to the station (tip:have the name of what you want in Vietnamese because the drivers more often than not can't speak English) for less than $5.... More

Very nice, beautiful views, it will cost you nothing, and you can have very nice walk along the railroad itself.

Go around 13:00 pm because the train leaves only when they sold enough tickets. The train stops for forty minutes, not enough time to see the pagoda and climb back down, Yet enough for a coffee stop with fellow passengers.

A quaint railway station with the opportunity for visitors to enjoy a 7km trip to the village of Trai Mat. The train travels through farm land mainly devoted to the growing of flowers. At Trai Mat there is plenty of time to explore the village with its local businesses and a small market . The village is also home to... More
