When you get past the tacky playground, the lake and valley is very beautiful. Line with pine trees, makes for some great pictures. I'm not sure whether it was the spectacular scenery, the archery or the love statues... but something made us fall in love with this sight. Not at all romantic... but well worth seeing.
We went to the valley of love as part of tour around Dalat. We found it extremely tacky, with little or nothing there to do with love.......its just a park. The view was very nice around the lake area but I wouldn't recommend going to this park unless its part of a tour. Definitively not worth it and we were...

Love the views there... It's a really lovely place to visit...nice to come for a walk too... I went there with my husband and got a really nice hand made picture frame from a gift shop... We have never seen such a talented person that can cut our names from a piece of wood...really nice experience!!!
Some is tacky for sure, but the setting is very nice. The lovely lake and surrounding scenery make it worthwhile. Interesting to watch the locals and Vietnamese react to the "love" theme!!
It's only a park. Many heart-shaped and love decorations, but I could not felt any sense of romantic at all. It wasted my time and money.
Waste time to spend money and time here. Only big park and amusement equioment for kids. Hightlight may be only lake view from valley.
The views and the gardens were lovely, but the whole thing is incredibly tacky. I wouldn't recommend unless it's included on a tour of other places.
Like the other have said, very tacky place. But the lake is beautiful and here you can see the cultural differences between asian and western habits, I don´t think there is so many places like this f.exmp. in Europe. We went there by bike from our hotel about 4 km, it is easy to drive. The traffic wasn´t that huge...

Lots of tacky statues about love. It is a nice lake to walk around; however the lake in town is just as good.
