Wow! Really amazing structures. Best to go early in the morning or in the evening as it was very hot when we went around midday. More

Full of huge colourful statues the temple of Wat Plai Laem is on the 4171 road in the Ban Plai Laem area of Samui. At Wat Plai Laem we saw, two fantastically ornate and detailed temples, one of which you can enter. Inside this, you'll find a large golden Buddha and beautiful original murals/ paintings depicting various stories and events... More

Adding a bit of Thai culture to your trip is in our opinion something not to be missed and great for photographs. There is also a few shops nearby where you can eat and buy souvenirs. More

You cannot go to Samui without visiting some places and this is one. Get in Island tour and this will undoubtedly be included along with the Big Buddha. It is difficult to describe the views on offer but I left feeling in awe of the place. Do be respectful to the Monks, this is not a tourist attraction but a... More

While fairly new, Wat Plai Laem still has the feeling of much older temples. Nice to see a school on site as well. Typical of temples, there is a profound sense of peace here. If you get a chance, the view from the water looking at the Wat is amazing! Well worth the visit! More

We went to both because driving theres about 2minutes in between them. They are both great but this is the better one to see, there is more to look at and see. The way they build their temples in Thailand is amazing its worth setting aside a morning or afternoon to go to them. More

The temple is so beautiful! You’ll have to take off your shoes when entering the main each building. The yard is extremely large and can hold up to some hundreds of people when the festivals take place. Definitely a place for travelers! More
