The night bazaar in Chiang Mai is the best markets I went to. With such a huge range, it is very easy to barter and find a good price, or find something that suits you. Plenty of bars are close by, so grab a drink, do some shopping, and then a few more drinks. We’d recommend Tourini’s to eat which... More

I got alot of small gifts to bring home at this market. This market has the typical scarves, shirts, knock-off purses and watches like other markets but if you look around you can find some handcrafts from the area. More

We loved the Chang Mai night bazaar ! Local performers old and young ......there's so much to see every which way you turned.... We also found a small bar to have a beer and relax half way through ..... Lots of handmade trinkets and things we had not seen in Bangkok .... More

Where ever you stay in Chaing Mai you are a quick red bus (20Baht) ride to the night Market. The stall opperaters are friendly and not at all pushy. This is a very large bazaar with tons of bargains and if you don't see what you are looking for or a special size usually they will find it for you... More

What a great night market! We were in Chiang Mai for 3 nights, and we went to the night bazaar every night! There were loads of neat things for sale, good restaurants (we ate at Daddy's Pizza), friendly people and felt very safe! There is even a little Post Office (across from Daddy's Pizza) to mail all of your postcards!... More

This is like every other bazaar in the whole world- catered to tourists! Every good you see here is in every other tourist location in chaing Mai. It is harder to bargain than the other locations because they are pretty savvy to us foreigners... You have better luck with prives and feel better supporting the actual indigenous people who make... Interesting but quite the usual things you'd find in a night bazaar anywhere else in Thailand if not less. Sunday Walking Street at Thapae Gate was much better. More

Not to be missed! Get a tuk tuk for little money and go when the sun goes down. You can shop till you drop or run out out of suitcase space, stop for a delicious roti with banana and nutella or a complete seafood dinner (or if you must--Macca's) and mix with the people. There are good bargains in souvenirs,... More
