Worth the visit and climb the steps to the top of the mount - views are simply amazing. Can be hard going climbing the steps in the intense mid-day heat - closes at 17:30 free to get in.

Another wat in the city of wats. We did enjoy our walk to the top, the steps were very easy to climb despite the heat. The view is OK but nothing special.

After living in BKK for over a year, we have finally visited Wat Saket! Not only is it a great view, but it is a beautiful glimpse into culture, faith, and country. Shouldn't be missed!

This Golden Chedi is located on top of a man-made mount. It is quite an amazing sight in the middle of this huge metropolis. Steep stairs lead you up and down the Chedi platform. There is a different view of Bangkok from up there.

We walked to Golden Mountain from Khao san road which only took about 20 mins. It was free for us to enter and the walk to the summit of the mountain, towards the temple was a spiral staircase surrounded by trees and the sound of monks humming. I was told about this place a few years ago. It is a short walk from the Kao san road .Worth the walk. You get a good 360 degree look at BKK. fromm the only natural High point in the city. DO NOT miss this place!

After a long hot day, we were not able to climb to the top. Shame because it loomed beautiful.
