We saw this lovely wat on our way to Wat Saket and decided to go and explore it more. The architecture of Lora Prasat inside this wat was lovely, very different to the others.

Very interesting and picturesque temple. The main building is open to the public (free) and you can climb up to the top to have a good view of Bangkok.
This temple is near the Golden Mount (aka Wat Saket) and is definitely worth a side trip, esp. if you're staying in the Khao San Road area.

This Wat has multiple levels, each dedicated to a different aspect of the teachings of Buddhism, such as 1 level about sitting meditation with chairs about, one level about precepts with plaques explaining them, one for walking meditation with corridors to walk, and the top has descriptions of the phases on the way to the very top level, nirvana.
