We signed up to Amita's Thai Cooking hoping to learn more about Thai Food. From the morning pick up at the Hotel right through to the end everything was made easy for us. The ferry transfer was a great insight into the Old Bangkok capital and way of life. Tam has a wealth of knowledge, great humour and really welcomes... More

When we arrived Tan was waiting for us on the jetty. Hang on I thought this is going to be different. We were ushered into her outdoor dining room and we tried a beautiful lemon drink with some herbs from the garden done tempura style. Then we wandered around the garden looking and smelling different herbs that Tan would be... More

I endorse all the positive comments to date: an exceptionally well-organised set-up, from pick up at my private address, the fascinating boat ride through the klongs to get to the delightful suburban villa location, and the way that every aspect of the learning experience had been carefully thought through. There was probably more demonstration than actual doing, and the helpful... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Tam at her Amita Cooking School. We were the only participants but we are confident that your experience will be equally as good. From the pick up arrangements, the venue, the food and all the trimmings that make any experience special was all here. Tam and her 'family' of staff were... More

I took a Thai cooking class (love Thai food) Sunday morning 2 weeks ago. I was picked up at my hotel and driven to a boat pier on the river, then taken to house on the river (after 20 mins or so on the boat). Apparently an are where it used to be the old capital of Thailand. You feel... More

This was not just a Thai cooking class, it was an amazing experience. Amita (AKA - Tam) shares not only her beautiful garden but also her traditions and amazing cooking skills which have been passed down from generation to generation. I learned more than I could of ever imagined, not just about the dishes we were cooking that day but... More

Amita thai cooking is a great professional (but very personal) experience. From pick up at the hotel, the speedboat along the river and through the canals to "old" Bangkok and the arrival at Tam's personal home with very well set up cooking and instruction area this was an experience. Meet by Tam, who also instructs, we were made welcome with... More
