My partner and I had a fab time partaking in this class. It lasts about 4 hours. You start by walking 5 minutes to a local indoor food market. The chef explains the different ingredients and shows you around the market filled with local Thais. You then head back to immaculately clean kitchen where you begin your course and learn... More

“WHERE IT’S ABOUT YOU, THE STUDENT”. Chef Lee loves to cook and lives to teach, sharing in her natural native Thai friendly personality her extensive professional training and instructional experience. We recommend you have a light breakfast as you eat your first of possibly 8+ dishes (three more than promised on the website) near 11:45 am following your market visit... More

My husband and two young adult children attended a cooking class with Chef Leez. You might think that in a group class you don't get attention but you'd be wrong. The Chef paid attention and helped each student in the class. In addition she was able to tailor the recipes for my vegetarian daughter and peanut allergy family. The air... More

I attended fruit & vegetable carving and cooking classes in two sequential days. Both sessions were really great. In couple of hours I learned basics of fruit carving and managed to create beautiful flowers and ornaments from cucumber, carrot, pumpkin and papaya. Cooking session was also excellent. Although I'm quite familiar with preparing thai food, I got many good hints... More

This is simply the best cooking class i had attend so far. To start with, the chef took us to market and taught us the basic knowledge on major thai dishes ingredients. Then we returned to the classroom and start the cooking class. The chef is a very nice lady and we felt her passion in cooking and sharing knowledge.... More

“WHERE IT IS ABOUT YOU, THE STUDENT”. After class there are numerous other attractions within a 20 minute walk of Chef LeeZ : Khao san road, China town, Khao Phraya River (see our home page for more). However, having said this the vast majority of our students return to their room for a pre-evening activity nap. We believe in delivering... More

I've taken a wide variety of tours & classes in cities around the world, and I would definitely recommend this one to others! Chef Lee was an outstanding teacher. She not only taught you how to cook, but she shared so much about the local culture - it was a great mix of the two. And she paced the class... More

Lots of great information on Thai ingredients and how to create the base of many Thai curries. We will be making our own shrimp oil and Tom Yum paste as soon as we get home!! Lots of tasters, but not so much that we felt full or uncomfortable. Very happy that the kitchen is air conditioned, so no concerns about... More

“Where It’s About You, The Student” “Great food starts with great ingredients!” Like your own created chili pastes: Chef LeeZ group classes include green Chili Paste and Tom Yum Chili Paste which other schools make you take additional classes to learn. Chemical flavor enhancers like MSG (mono sodium glutimate) food # E621 is not required and is a health threat!.... More

She is amazing...this was worth every cent! We learned how to make 8 different dishes...went to the local market to pick the ingredients. She taught us how to make the freshest Thai food and how to spot it when Thai food isn't it's freshest. Learned so much, but also had so much fun! We still think this was the best... More

I went by myself one day to Chef Leez, and I had a great experience. First, we got a little introduction to a lot of Thai ingredients. It was amazing connecting the flavors I was familiar with to the actual plant / root / leaf / fruit it comes from. Have you ever heard of Kaffir Limes? Me neither... Then... More

Found and selected my Thailand cooking school class by reading Tripadvisor's. Could not have been happier with the results. Let me start with the one minor negative. From the CBD of Bangkok it was a time consuming taxi drive. Chef LeeZ does a good job of representing this on her web site. She provide a good map, accurate time estimates... More
