We took the subway and bus to Wulai town and got there in about an hour from our hotel. The tourist information center at the MRT were very helpful pointing out which bus to take and the location of the bus stop. The distance from Wulai town to the falls is about three kilometer but it was a very nice... More

Just a great walk from Wulai town, with a little coffee shop for relaxing and lots of food stalls. More

Great walk though the path to the top waterfall is often closed. Hot springs on the way back are irresistible. Take care, some of the paths are slippery with tree roots when wet, as it often is up there. More

The bus ride up to Wulai is cheap and efficient. Don't take the taxi drivers stalking at the bus stop outside the Xindian MRT station, they charge per headcount and not worth the money. Anything in doubt, can ask the tourist information counter outside the MRT Station, they are very helpful. Walking along the "lao jie" is interesting, the sausages... More
