Definitely a perfect place to relax, not far from Kampala, easy to make for a weekend. We had the Family Cottage and that one was quite good for all of us.

We had a very nice visit - short hike and we say 8 out of 12 resident rhinos. The guide was very knowledgeable not only about rhinos but also about trees. In addition, there are tame Uganda cob and crested crane living near park headquarters for those who enjoy close-up shots of animals.

very knowledgeable rangers and you can get very close to the animals. advice would be to go late afternoon / early evening, as in the middle of the day, the animals pretty much lie there doing nothing

We loved our stay at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. We didn't stay in the new lodges, but in the guesthouse by the gate. It worked really well for us as there were 9 of us in the house. The chef, Joel, cooked some fantastic food for us and the staff was all very professional and kind. The high-light was the rhino...

WE were very lucky to see a male trying to mate(unsuccessfully) ther are a very big animal. The guides will bring you directly to their location as they keep a 24hour vigil on them. For a hours break to Murchison Falls well worth the visit.

The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was an add-on to a package tour. I originally thought we would see more than 3 of the rhinos that live in the park. We did see these rhinos up close, and they are amazing-huge, powerful, but rather sleepy! At first I wanted more action, but I realized to view these great animals peacefully was a...

Ziwa is a great place that is worth a stop if for no other reason than to support the mission of reintroducing rhinos to Uganda. Seeing the rhinos was cool, but got boring fast. We saw 7 rhinos, but all were laying down, sleeping. Not very exciting, but again, a great cause that is worth supporting.

They know at all times where the rhinos are located so its a garantee that you see them. Friendly owner. Many other animals in the sanctuary - some are tame and reside inside the confines of the lodge.

It was quite expensive to get in yet getting in and paying took longer than seeing the rhinos. We drove in our car no more than a couple of minutes, got out, walked for about five minutes and saw the back of a couple of rhinos hidden under some trees. The guide asked if that was okay and we said...

Rosalind D. As with any complaint or negative report we receive, I go back in our books to see what the actual problem was (as the client is most definately not always right). In your case I am afraid I do not find your name anywhere in our invoices or Indemnity forms. Therefore I cannot comment on what happend during...
