The place has its history. If you don't have a guide along with you to explain everything about all the rooms make sure you read up well about it. There's alot to absorb here.

A day wondering around the island is magnificent with the wonderful sights, sounds and smells. However, I was again disappointed by the lack of interesting displays and activities in the museum part of the Slave House. They did a good job at renovating the building, but could have made a bit more out of the content, as it is such an important place. To pay respect to history as visit is recommended.
