We got up at some god-awful hour of the day to catch a boat to go swim with dolphins. Pretty amazing but note they aren't the bottlenose ones but spinners. Well worth the effort though........

We took the catamaran day trip. Extremely well organised. Lovely sights of dolphins, lovely barbecue, snorkelling, free drinks. Just great.

We went here during an early morning boat trip to swim with the dolphins. There were about 20 boats already there chasing around a pod of dolphins who were trying to eat their breakfast which seemed cruel and I'm not sure I agree with it. Wolmar part of the bay is at the end of a long stretch of hotel beaches, separated from the town of Tamarin, occupying the opposite side, by an undeveloped river estuary covered in low forest.

The area of Tamarin Bay is a true home away from home. It's a small area with not much night life at all but if you are looking for a low key relaxing place to stay, look no further than Tamarin. Really relaxing, beautiful and totally authentic taste of Mauritius. Love love love!
