Our guide, Adas, took us for a drive by the Grumeti river. He told us the history of the name of the area, he showed us crocodiles, monkeys and hippos, and two bridges built around WWII.
It was a great experience and a lovely day out.

We drove in from the Seronera Region of Serengeti. It seems that the saying the" grass is greener on the other side" originated here.
The landscape here is very green with a mix of hills and rolling plains and abundant with wildlife. I truly suggest going up in a balloon here to experience it !
