The most egregious of our trip to Morocco was going to the Rug Co-Op in Fes called Aux Marveilles du Tapis. We were repeatedly told that this was the place to go, the best and most unique rugs without parallel. I thought I'd gotten a good deal, or at least a fair one, when I paid less than half the asking price for a Berber killim at Aux Merveilles du Tapis, but then I saw the same rug --same colors, pattern, size--in Marrakesh for less than half of what I paid.
