Boaters love the lake. Camping is spectacular for everyone from tenters to the big rigs. Hiking and biking trails everywhere. Also, DO NOT miss the museum on the grounds. It is free and gives a great overview of when this park was one of our biggest Naval Bases in WWII.

Beautiful, well maintained camping spaces for tents, campers, rvs. Great family swimming spot at Buttonhook Bay. Nature hikes, trails along the lake. I love it!

BEAutiful spot! Great for camping, swimming, boating and other outdoor activities! The downside would be the camp grounds can be Crowded in the summer.

Located at the southern end of pristine Lake Pend Oreille with a system of easy hiking/biking trails, stone beaches, a boat launch, docks, and cabin rentals, this is a better than average camp spot for sure. Enjoy a little history lesson by reading info from the lake view plaques about the old Naval base. There is also a frisbee golf-course... More

Campsites are paved . We stayed in Gilmore so we had power and water. Shower house was VERY clean and so were the washrooms. Bring your bikes as there are many bike trails. Local attractions include naval museum and Silverwood theme park. We attended the later. We have kids aged 3,11,13 and they all enjoyed Silverwood.its a 10 minute drive... More

Camped at Farragut for a few days before going to Canada, and was amazed at the amount of hummingbirds. What a treat for hummingbird lovers!

This park is well maintained and a wonderful retreat that is so close to town. Enjoy nature and make it home for dinner. Excellent day trip.
