Ive been a regular to this beah for a long time now an haven't been able to find anything to complain about. Not that I've been lookin all that hard. There's usually a light breeze and some decent 2-3 foot waves for beginner body surfers and boogie borders. This beach is mostly a local crowd but it's also a favorite... More

Had my wedding in Waimanalo last week. It was fantastic! Perfect romantic setting for those in love. Manana Island (otherwise known as Rabbit island) can be seen from here. Not so much people here so you almost feel like the beach is yours. More

If you are in Honolulu (Waikiki) proper, and are tired of stepping over, around, under and through all the folks densely populating Waikiki beach, try driving a few miles around the Windward (East) side of Oahu up the Kalanianaole Highway to the closely-associated towns of Waimanalo & Waimanalo Beach. Popular historical note: The Anderson Estate, which was featured in the... More

Staying in Waimanalo during our trip to Oahu. Naturally, we went to our local beach the first day (assuming we would branch out the next day). Well, the beach was so beautiful, had a few other people but no crowds, and enough wave action to make boogie boarding fun but tame enough to enjoy swimming and feel safe, that we... More

Breath taking views. Some locals have taken up residing in the park. Wouldn't hang out too long. More

I went on a tour of Oahu and stopped by this beach! Me and my husband loved it so we decided to come back on our own. It was a pretty windy day but it didn't stop us (not that you can help it) from enjoying the beautiful beach and weather. Definitely would go back again when we come back... More

This was my favorite beach on Oahu! Few people, gorgeous white sand and blue water, nothing touristy. Just beach and sun. Beautiful! More
