Everyone sees the flowers and the front. Go in the side entrance for the real beauty. It is not polite for visitors (gringos) to use the front door. The cross between Catholic and Mayan as a living daily event inside is magic. Candles, incense, flowers,prayer it's all there. (No pictures please)

It was definitely a unique church with a mix of Christian customs and Mayan rituals involving burning incense and candles. Overall, the church looks nice from a distance, but rather dirty when you actually walk in. The Sunday (and Thursday) market is held right in front of this church.
