Wekiva Springs is a natural cold spring. There is a great swimming area and sunbathing area. There are also covered pavillions and grills for a great day of picnicking in the park. :You can swim, people watch, bird watch, rent canoes, hike, mountain bike on the trails, or just relax in nature.

Great place to rent kayaks or canoes, swim in the cold springs, snorkel a bit, and soak up some sun on the grassy hill overlooking the springs. Also miles and miles of trails for running/hiking/exploring.

As we entered the park, the park ranger told us there were over 300 manatees. The park has facilities for overnight camping, however, we were just visiting for the day. They have picnic tables where you...

I found this park a little too crowded and somewhat disappointing. On the plus side there was an excellent walk from the park out into the countryside, which enabled you to get away from the general hustle and bustle.
