Beautiful course, always in great shape. Greens cut short and mostly quite fast... hard to see the slope sometimes but tends to roll towards the ocean. Friendly staff and mostly open with moderate to little play. They have a great value in the afternoons, check with them for good rates.

For as nice as Cypress Ridge is, it gets surprisingly little play. The greens are immaculate. The fairways are about average. The service in the pro shop left a little to be desired.

Cypress Ridge is located "on the Mesa" as the locals would say. Basically, it's about 10 minutes from downtown Arroyo Grande. The surrounding housing area is better than average for this area (pretty typical golf course layout).
