Awesome place, wonderful scenics, swimming area, camping, picnic pavilion, playground equipment, well maintained hiking trails. Watch out for your kids on the rocks!
Very pretty little site. You can climb on the rocks for a good view of the river and small water falls.

Loved our trip to dells of the Eau Claire River ! very beautiful ,nice camping ,hiking,nice beach . Many picnic area and things for kids to do . very pretty place ! glad we found it!!
My husband had come here as a little boy and he wanted to see it again. I had never been there and was surprised at how beautiful it was. The rocks are slippery so be careful as you climb around.

PROS: This small campground has some of the best trails I've ever seen. The scenery along the trails and by river is worthy of a drive there for that purpose alone. Lots of nice picnic shelters. Fun and easy trail system with a variety of trees. Falls area with rocks to club around on. Small but adequate playground. Nice group campground. A good place for a family get together.

There is so much to see and do here that it pains me that it does not get more use. This should be a national geological park. Take note that the ice age trail also intersects here. Read up on that and you are sure to go.
