We went on Tuesday so we could hear the peal bell practice. Enjoyed it so much. We sat in the Bishops garden which was recommended. Beautiful garden, so peaceful. Highly recommend a visit. We will have to go back during the day next time.

We actually attend Sunday Services here while on vacation and it was breathtaking to watch. This Cathedral was so detailed and so massive is literally took your breath away whe you walked up to it and entered into it. The staff is exceptionally nice. It is a must visit while in DC. My family has gone 5 times and this...

I usually take relatives here during their visits because its an impressive building on beautiful grounds. Its design and presentation are a bit out of the ordinary when compared to other DC monuments, but the elaborate gargoyles, sculptures, and stained glass windows never fail to provide interesting photo opportunities.

The washington national cathedral is so beautiful inside and outside. The wonderful pipe organ a delight to hear.

We arrived to at the cathedral, but unfortunately there was a concert going on and we could not access the interiors. But the gothic exteriors are well worth a visit. Located in an upscale neighborhood.

Beautiful. Sad to see damage from the earthquake. The walk to the cathedral is in some great neighborhoods. Fun to see all of the embassies.

I especially loved the moonrock embedded in the stained glass window.

We saw parts of the Cathedral that are behind locked doors, inaccessible for audio or self guided tours. Our guide, Irma, was most charming and an absolute delight! She was knowledgeable, cheerful, funny, and clearly dedicated to her task...
