Take the extra time if you go to Ford's Theater to go through the house because there are good exhibits inside on various floors. There is a small gift shop, but the bigger one is across the street at Ford's Theater. This is a great place to teach children about history and about past and present leaders around the world. More

Where Lincold was brought after being shot across the street. Interesting. The new Center for Education and Leadership next door is full of information and great display. The Center is a good source of information on our nation's history More

Overview: This is the place where Lincoln died, and if you went on (or, should I say, enjoyed) the tour of Ford Theater (where Lincoln was shot), then you can use your tickets from the Theater to experience this place. Pros: Much historical significance - This is the place where Lincoln died, and the historical symbolism here is incredible. You... More

This house is right behind Ford theatre and you can attend it for free with every (free) ticket to Ford's theatre. Unlike Ford's theatre, the Peterson House has been completely left in its original condition. It is really amazing to see where President Lincoln died - it breaks the heart to see it. However, there are a lot of people... More

We got to there just after closing so I cannot say if it a worthwhile tour or not. It was nice to see it from the outside though. A plaque commemorates the location of the house where Lincoln was brought to after being shot at the Ford's Theater across the street. He died later in this house. More
