If visiting the Lincoln Memorial does not give you goose pimples, then you must have ice in you veins. The majesty of the statue, the words on the wall paint a picture of who this man was. Have been there at least three times, and each one is better than the last. More

They are fixing the reflecting pool so the sites is a little messy and you have to walk around a bit more but the monument was still worth checking it out. More

It is hard to see because it has been worn down by many footstpes, but in the center or the flat area, just before the final group of stairs, there is an engraving in the stone that marks the place MLK stood when he made the I Have a Dream speech. The Lincoln Memorial is just awesome and is always crowded. There's a nice little museum on the lower level. A book store is on the main level. More

One of the more famous monuments, it was a pleasure to see it in person. It is even more spectacular than i thought it would be. Disappointing the reflecting pools are undergoing maintenance but it is important these monuments are maintained. More

Inspiring memorial to our 16th president. Unfortunately, the Reflecting Pool is undergoing major renovations and takes away from the views looking towards the Capitol. More
