“Crawford Notch Campground: Camping at Its Best!”

I have been to many campgrounds in quite a few provinces and states and this is by far my favourite one. We've been three times now. We've pretty much adopted Crawford Notch Campground as our go-to place in New Hampshire. We recently revisited Mt. Willard, a hike we have taken many times with children and beginning hikers of mixed ages. This easy climb delivers a lot of bang for the buck as it gives a great view of Crawford Notch in less than two hours round trip. We just spent four days at this campground which I found to have limited facilities. The campstore was well stocked, and the location was nice for hiking, but most attractions were at least a half hour away by car. Only one bathhouse by the main gate means it's quite a long walk from the far campsites. Those needing toilets anywhere... More

Owners almost threw us out because we didn't unload our extra car fast enough for them. They kept driving around us in there golf cart finally stopping and getting very very upset. I went to the office to explain we hadn't seen our friends for months and they just finished a 5 hr drive. We were just talking and catching... More
