There are very few buildings left at Garnet; no "town", despite the photo above. It is more a town site, where a ghost town would be had buildings survived. I found its location rather extraordinary and evocative --- high up in a mountain vale. I remember every half-mile of the lonely drive. I was the only visitor and only motorist... More

we enjoyed a wonderful day at the Ghost Town. The fact that it was all clossed up did not deter us from visiting it. It was a nice day, with temperatures of about 10 degreees celcius and some sunshine we had no guidelines to the different houses but viewed them anyway. very nice afternoon More
