This beach was worth the drive. It's not too hard to find, but it is off the beaten path. It's just south of Fort Matanzas and is part of the national park. Matanzas Inlet is not a restaurant, it is a channel about 14 miles south of St Augustine bordered by two barrier islands. We stayed on the small island south of the inlet in a condo that we rented on VRBO. I found this area just looking for condo's in St Augustine. It is in St Johns county but just barely.... More

We love this place ....The food is the best around...resonably priced..best drinks...happy hour from 3:00 to 6:30 daily ...Entertainment on patio on some nights...The staff is amazing...Love Alishia and Sandy.....!!! My husband and I love going to Matanza inlet! Joanie and Jerri (the owners) always treat us so special. The food is awesome! I had blackened grouper and my husband had a Po boy!
