Wonderful little street just off the main square (House of Blackheads etc) which is easy to miss but worth making an effort to find. Great old buildings, lots of Jugenstil decoration, several good restaurants and cafes. Add to your to do list!

Jauniela is packed with cafes & restaurants + there are 2 hotels allocetad on the street. some of places are just great. some classical films of mosfilm was made on that street - like sherlock holms and some others...

Jauniela is a nice pedestrian street in the Old Riga. Lively, but not loud with several cafes and restaurants (Le Crabe Restaurant, Cuba Café, Alpenrose, Put Vejini etc.). Picturesque houses and alfresco dining.
