The main building is very impressive, but you got to see the paintings if you like art. I heard the main building is under renovation.

A wide collection of art which told a story about Latvia and its art history. Very fair price too. I loved the late 19th century works of Latvian landscapes.

A nice museum with a limited displaywhich apparently is house in a beautiful red brick building. The entrance fee was 3 lat if I remember well.

Very interesting exhibition of baltic and latvian art from different years - great pictures! Well worth a visit.

A nice museum with an interesting range of exhibits. Particularly interesting was the room given over to Gustavs Klucis and his montage designs for Soviet posters. The video, in English, on his life and work is well worth sitting down for. Very engaging. Lasts 56 minutes, but we missed the first 20 minutes.
