This is a weird place of religious fanatics. People bring crosses to the hill and constantly erect them. You can buy crosses at the stalls from grannies and top up the existing pile. If you are not religious or just sober minded person don't go there. Pointless. More

Thousands and thousands crosses of all sizes to commemorate lost loved ones. The hill itself was rebuilt several times after being bulldozed during the Soviet occupation. It was easy to stand for long periods and just let the presence of this place overtake you. It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. More
