We took the hydrofoil to and from Vienna and Bratislava. The boat was on time and immaculate. We spent a day in Bratislava without wasting time on buses or trains. No need to make reservations. Make sure you take your passport.

As long as you are not in a huge rush, this is an amazing way to get between the two cities. I had read some reviews on here saying take the train, really pleased I didn't listen. We took the train on the way back and while it was 5 euros cheaper, it's just a train and in terms of...

We were recommended this trip by our hotel and it was excellent. We caught the 10:30 hydrofoil to Vienna, it only takes 90 minutes and there's plenty to see on the way. Boat was comfortable with bar and toilets, good view from all seats so don't spend extra on reserving the front ones. Had a walk around Vienna and some...

We thought the boats had stopped for the winter but the twin city one stills runs in October. It was well worth the cost as the boats speeds along the Danube passed villages and fishing huts and you can sit in comfort in the cabin or up on deck. Refreshments are available and you can smoke in one area. Lovely...

The Danube is...

We got a take-away coffee across the street and walked into the Twin City Liner ticket office and asked for two tickets. Even...
