Some reviews say this is not a spa, but it is; in the original meaning of the word. It is somewhere you go to soak in the natural, thermal waters. It is not a modern, artificial invention where you go to be pampered, although massage and I think other treatments are available. We found the baths very pleasant and quite... More

After walking around a large area of Pest during the morning we arrived at the Baths in the early afternoon. Because we had flown in by Easyjet we weren't very prepared but did have swimsuits with us. The waters were lovely and we used most of the pools ranging from 28 degrees C to 38 degrees C! The external pool... More

We booked the spa through our hotel and chose to have a 30 min massage and changing cabin included. We found it a little difficult to find the entrance, but once through the door everyone was very helpful. Our hotel tickets were exchanged for a digital wrist band which contained all the information about our cabin and treatments. We hired... More

Definitely worth a few hours during a visit to Budapest. These baths have been a part of the fabric of the city's culture for decades. Rent a locker and spend some time soaking in the pools with people from all over the world. A great experience - not to be missed.

We visited on a hot, busy Saturday. The outside area is more like a public swimming pool with peeling paint, greasy fast food and crowds. Inside is more decorative and as I imagined it would be with several hot and cold pools. It's quite expensive. You have to hire towels if you don't bring your own and to be honest... More

Now that was really fun experience, very relaxing and I'd repeat it again. Before the trip I had been very sceptical, as I am sure, huge places like this is hardly possible to keep clean, I remember my visit to Aquapark in Paris - now that was a real nasty disaster with dirty water. Here it was very clean and... More

Don't go here with the assumption that it's a spa, it's NOT. My friend and i made appointments for a massage and went with high expectations. Here's what we saw: dirty locker rooms no soap, shampoo, towels... everything had to be rented or purchased the indoor pools were very crowded. the tiles were dingy the rooms were cold. In one... My wife and I enjoy thermal baths around the world so we couldn't resist going to some of the famous baths in Budapest. The weather was lovely and the building and outdoor baths looked spectacular. It was crowded with tourists and locals alike (about 50/50), but we could just about find enough space to ourselves in the baths. It was... More

We were lucky in that the weather was gorgeous when we were there making the trip good value for money as we could lounge outside in the sun next to the baths for the whole afternoon. Gorgeous architecture and great atmosphere, I would recommend this to anyone
