Definately a recommended place to visit if you are in Budapest. Absolutely stunning views of the City. It is also free which is a bonus. Also plenty of places to buy souvenirs which we found we cheaper than buying elsewhere!

The hike up was awesome! we got up there pretty fast and it was a nice work out! The fortress was pretty and had an amazing view of Budapest!
You can see Budapest city from top. So beautiful view from this place. You can take photo with Budapest city as background . I think it's must if you in Budapest. You can go there with all company hop on hop off bus.
My advice....do not walk up here....it's very steep with hundreds of steps and there isn't that much up here except excellent photo opportunities and a close up of the Statue of Liberty!
